One tap. No pasting.

Set this up once on your iPhone. After that, tapping any TikTok link in WhatsApp opens the video here automatically.

  1. Install Userscripts (free)A free, open-source Safari extension. No account needed. Open in the App Store
  2. Turn it on in SafariSettings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Userscripts → On, then set tiktok.com to Allow.
  3. Add the scriptOpen the link below in Safari, tap the Userscripts icon in the address bar menu, and choose Install. Open the script
  4. DoneTap a TikTok link in WhatsApp. It opens in Safari and jumps straight to the viewer.

LIVE streams are left alone because TikTok plays them fine in Safari. The viewer's Open on tiktok.com button skips the redirect. To turn this off, switch the Userscripts extension off in Safari settings.

The script only runs on tiktok.com, only reads the page address, and sends nothing anywhere except to this viewer.
